Dr Stephen Walker
In the field of sport and performance psychology, Stephen Walker began his work at the Human Performance Laboratory at the University of Colorado in 1983, and for 19 years he trained athletes in mental conditioning skills from the CU Golf, Track & Field and Cross Country teams. Dr. Walker has since developed programs for several accomplished athletes in a wide variety of sports from professional and Olympic levels to high school and club teams. He is Board Certified by the Association for Applied Sport Psychology, and is a member of the United States Olympic Committee’s Registry of Sport Psychologists.His joy comes from helping support coaches, parents and promising young athletes as they strive to realize their potential. Dr. Walker has developed his practice into a wide range of services for every level of athlete and performing artist. Dr. Walter L. McCutcheon
For the past 25 years, Dr. McCutcheon has been helping individuals reach their potential. He has guided hundreds of individuals from a variety of sports and performance arenas, educating and mentoring them in mental skills training towards focused performance improvement.
Dr. McCutcheon has worked with professional athletes, university athletes, high school athletes and everything in between. Coaches, teams and individuals under his guidance have successfully competed in state, national, and international competitions.
As a motivational speaker and accomplished vocalist, musician, writer, and actor, Dr. McCutcheon has helped individuals in the performing arts to develop real confidence and the ability to perform consistently under pressure.
For those of you in the eSports world, Dr. McCutcheon has worked with eSports directors, coaches, teams and individuals. Some of these E-Sports include: League of Legends, Overwatch and Rocket League.
Dr. McCutcheon is a distinguished scholar and was to be nominated for the Doctoral Student Practice Award by the Association for Applied Sports Psychology. He also received a Firefighter of Year Award for his work as a volunteer emergency services fire fighter and fire chaplain.
Donna Walker is Dr. Walker’s wife and office manager. Donna’s experience derives from multiple decades in banking and finance specifically as Manager of Bank Relationships for a Billion Dollar equipment leasing company. She manages the finance side of Health & Sport Performance Associates in every respect including all the Invoicing, Quickbooks related tasks, and all associated tax preparation. She also works on special projects sometimes allowing her to be more creative. She is an artist and mother of two sons.
Alli Mallory joined Health & Sport Performance Associates in 2018 and quickly became an integral member of the team. She has an undergraduate degree from LSU and will pursue a graduate degree at Denver University in the fall. She is a lifelong athlete and interested in pursuing and learning about the field of applied sport and performance psych. Her attention to detail and dependability has proven to be invaluable as the company grows and develops more products to offer it’s clients. Her duties include the newsletter, managing mailchimp, sending communications, maintaining the client list, finding speaking engagements for Dr. Walker, and other projects.
